The Texas Instruments TPS61178RNWR is a 3.6V to 39V, 1A, high-efficiency, low-side constant-current, low-noise DC/DC boost converter that operates from a single cell Li-Ion or Alkaline battery. Designed to provide tight regulation of output current, it operates with a wide range of input voltages and features low-noise operation and excellent efficiency at light and heavy load. Its high-efficiency makes it suitable for powering low-voltage loads such as brightness control of LCDs, digital audio amplifiers, LEDs, and other low-power devices. Its low-power design allows for long battery life and its versatile configuration options make it easy to use in a variety of applications.
